The Big Move

From empty rooms to a working studio

You might’ve spotted it on our socials, in our email signature, or just by walking past. But yes, it’s true: we’ve moved!

And if this is news to you, honestly… where have you been? Over the years, our team has been slowly (and happily) expanding, and it was about time our space did too.

A little more breathing room, a proper meeting space that’s not in the middle of our working area… You get the picture.

CUYLITSSTRAAT 14

We’ve now settled into our new home at Cuylitsstraat 14 in Antwerp, just a one-minute stroll from Nordica. Which technically makes us neighbours. Dangerous? Possibly. Cinnamon bun addiction incoming? Almost guaranteed.

The new space feels unmistakably us; minimal, architectural, and softened with warm light and dark wood. Our work brings the colour, just like our identity. It’s exactly how we pictured the .OTG HQ, complete with a meeting room and a spot for mini photoshoots. Everything we hoped for, finally in one place. It feels like a huge milestone. A moment to reflect and realise just how far we’ve come…

PATIO

One of our most exciting recent additions is the downstairs patio, inspired by Peelvrouw’s design for OAAS Antwerp. It’s become our little hidden outdoor spot to catch some fresh air, grab a coffee, or take a private call away from the rest of the team. It’s still a work in progress, but we love the potential. We’re currently hunting for the perfect pop-of-colour tables to turn this into our dream backyard lunch spot by the time summer hits.

TERRACE

Another standout feature is the first-floor balcony terrace, which offers a spectacular view of the Sint-Michaël and Sint-Petrus Church here in Antwerp. While the colder months are keeping us inside for now, we’re already counting down to warmer days when we can fully enjoy this idyllic outdoor sanctuary.

MEETING ROOM

If there’s one space designed to make an impression on our clients, it’s the meeting room. After climbing the architectural stairs, you’re immediately welcomed by our “Hall of Fame”, a custom shelving system displaying some of our favorite packaging pieces. Just beyond the glass wall sits the meeting room itself, easily the most eye-catching space in our office.

“There are three responses to a piece of design: yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”

quest for customisation

At .OTG, our space is never just a backdrop; it’s an extension of how we think, live, and design. We believe a workspace should be a vessel for ideas, where every object inspires rather than distracts. As creatives, atmosphere is everything to us. We find a lot of joy in supporting artists and makers who approach their craft with a level of care and intention that simply can’t be replicated.

In a sea of sameness and overconsumption, we deliberately choose the authentic and the bold. We prioritize custom-made and refurbished pieces, objects with a past or items created specifically for this space. Each one adds character, texture, and a sense of soul. We’re not out here trying to be Pinterest-perfect; we want everything to make sense for us.

If you’re a creative or artist and feel your work might belong here, we’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s furniture, objects, or art, we’re always looking for pieces that bring new energy into our space.

MEETING ROOM TABLE

The meeting room table had to be a statement piece, something that wows people the moment they sit down and leaves a lasting impression. Finding it, however, was another story. After endless hours of scrolling through Pinterest and Are.na, we finally found “the one.” Perfect shape, perfect vibe but completely…. unaffordable.

So, we did what creatives do: we found a workaround.

Instead of chasing the impossible, we collaborated with FESTON to customize a geometric chrome table. And we know what you’re thinking… “not another chrome interior.” But hear us out. Rather than a trendy, hyper-polished look, we went for a classic form with a brushed finish designed to age beautifully. It’s a surface that welcomes scratches, fingerprints, and the subtle wear of everyday use. It isn’t the kind of shine that stays pristine; it’s the kind that collects stories. This table is meant to be lived at, carrying the marks of long brainstorms and the ideas that took shape right here.

MEETING ROOM CHAIRS

Finding the right chairs to match our centerpiece was a whole different ballpark. We wanted something timeless. So we looked at Cesca chairs and Eames silhouettes, pieces that have earned their place in history. This also meant we were drawn to vintage and refurbished options, which felt like a natural fit for our love of furniture with a past.

Luckily, we had a secret weapon on the team. Our web developer, Elise, spends one day a week restoring and selling vintage furniture. She brought in a curated selection from Meteor Gallery, giving us the luxury of testing different styles and seeing how they transformed the atmosphere of the room.

In the end, we went in a slightly different direction. We chose a chair inspired by the Westwing Jordan, a design rooted in Bauhaus-era tubular steel. The creamy white finish we opted for lifts the space and pulls in more light, while still making a confident statement. The result feels balanced, like it was always meant to be this way.
