Labellov

A luxury resale destination
where designer pieces find their next owner.

The brand

Luxury resale has a trust problem. For years, the category has existed between two extremes: highly transactional marketplaces on one side, traditional luxury retail on the other. Neither reflected the experience Labellov had been building since 2012.

Through expert authentication, personal guidance and a carefully curated selection, founder Birgit created a destination where exceptional designer pieces could change hands with the same confidence and care as they would in a luxury boutique.

Our task was to create an identity that reflected that level of trust while celebrating the emotional value these pieces carry with them.

PRESERVED COLLECTABLES

Designer bags are made to endure. Their value isn’t tied to a single owner, but to the craftsmanship, rarity and history they accumulate over time.

This observation became the foundation of the brand concept: Preserved Collectables. Rather than positioning Labellov as a resale platform, we reframed it as a keeper of luxury. A place where pieces are selected, authenticated and preserved before continuing their journey.

Not a marketplace. A collection.

A CURATED ARCHIVE

The visual identity draws inspiration from fashion archives, collector culture and cataloguing systems.Structured layouts, layered typographic hierarchies and archival references bring a sense of order and provenance to the experience.

Products are documented rather than displayed, creating the feeling of browsing a carefully maintained collection rather than a resale platform. This approach shifts attention away from transaction, towards long-term value.

THE HUMAN TOUCH

Authentication sits at the heart of the Labellov experience. Rather than keeping that expertise hidden behind the scenes, the identity makes it visible. Approval stamps, authentication markers and handwritten annotations act as evidence of the care and judgement behind every piece.

The brandmark was developed as a signature-inspired symbol that doubles as a seal of approval. Used alongside the authentication stamp, it introduces a more human presence into the system, transforming trust from a promise into something tangible.

THE FINAL LAYER

Throughout the identity, structure is balanced by emotion. The colour palette reinterprets classic romantic tones through a more contemporary lens. Deep burgundy brings a sense of permanence and luxury, while blush and softer accents introduce warmth and familiarity, a subtle reflection of the name itself.

The wordmark follows the same principle. A slight shift in the letter “b” creates a moment of distinction within an otherwise refined composition, much like a standout piece within a carefully curated collection.

Together, these elements position Labellov between archive and boutique, expertise and affection, preservation and desire.

A brand built around the belief that luxury isn’t defined by newness, but by its ability to endure.
